Everyone loves games, right? The fun kind I mean…and no, mind games don’t count and are not fun. If you think they are…well, that’s a whole different post that I won’t get into. In my opinion, if that is your idea of fun, then you have more issues than National Geographic!
I have loved card and board games going wayyyy back and still enjoy them very much. I also played competitive sports in high school, so yes, I do have a competitive nature. My husband tells me I am the most competitive person he knows but gosh, we all want to win don’t we. No one sits down to play a game with the desire to lose, right? Ok, ok….maybe making an 8 year old cry during a game of Monopoly went a bit too far but it’s not my fault the die kept making him land on my properties, right?!
Obviously my photo is not about board games though…bedroom games is more like it. So if you’re “old-ish” by all means don’t stop playing but like the sign says, “Play at your own risk”! Afterall, your back, bones and other joints don’t know that 50 is the new 40 and they are going to protest! Count on it!
