Featuring Saintstreet and Z.O.E.
I am super excited about this new fair and super excited to have been chosen as a blogger for this first round. I really love the idea behind it. Let me fill you in.
The name is Tlalli – The Fair Around the World. Tlalli is from Nahuati meaning “land” – The land of men. The fair will be held on a quarterly basis and each round will feature one country as its guest. Now, if you follow my blog you have probably read about my love of Disney and when I first read about this event it reminded me of World Showcase at Epcot, one of the parks at Walt Disney World in Florida. I am lucky enough to have many trips to Disney under my belt…more than 20 in fact and the Mexico Pavilion is one of my favorites. I have also vacationed in Mexico and it was amazing…I had fresh pineapple with breakfast, lunch AND dinner!
The Tlalli website describes the fair as being “born with the idea of merging cultures, to realize that there is always something beyond what our eyes can see, that we can open our Pandora’s box. Uniting nations to show to the world what our “land” produces.” This is something the world needs a whole lot more of in my opinion.
My blog posts for Tlalli are going to celebrate Mexico and the great designs the creators have come up with. I can’t wait to show you more. The fair runs from September 10th – October 2nd.
This first post features a fantastic backdrop from Saintstreet. It is based on the San Miguel de Allende and the creator did a great job at capturing that. Google some photos and you will agree! The textures and detail are so well done. It is also quite large as far as backdrops go, approximately 23 meters wide, so you have a lot of space to work with.
Most of the other decor is part of the Tlalli Fair Mexico set from Z.O.E. I love the beautiful mosaic work on the steps and planters. You can buy the pieces individually or as a full pack. The full pack is a better value and all of the pieces work so well together you are going to want them all. See you there!
