Featuring Armonia Decor, The Bearded Guy and Dark Moon Rising
I have said this before but I’m going to say it again. I love how, for me, blogging is about more than just taking a picture. I love how it brings out creative ideas and more times than not piques my curiosity about something I am blogging about. For me, sometimes blogging is about more than just a pretty picture.
Tlalli – The Fair Around the World, has really been in inspiration and I hope the other bloggers have embraced it, at least a little, in the same way. Here is what I am talking about.
Today, September 16th, is the day Mexico celebrates its independence. There are parades, festivals and parties. Mexican flags are out in full force and the plaza in Mexico City is packed with celebrating citizens. You can read more about the history of this day here. I learned this bit of new information all because I was accepted as a blogger for a fair that I thought was a really good idea and was interesting. This is what I mean about being inspired and I love when it happens. Don’t get me wrong, I love taking pretty pictures also and sometimes a photo is just about the “pretty” and that’s ok too. I’m just glad my style of blogging stimulates my creativity AND my brain.
So, in case my photo needs a bit of explaining, this is Mexico, or at least close to the way Mexico would appear on a map and it’s made with beautiful items representing Mexico from some great creators. If you haven’t been to the fair yet, you really need to go have a look around. The sim build is amazing! Viva Mexico!
