I know that in my old home state of Michigan, the green of summer has given way to the yellows, oranges and reds of fall. Here in the south…not so much! I love that I can create scenes that remind me of “home” and The Little Branch makes it easy with their four season trees and shrubs.
In this photo, summer’s green is just starting to show that tinge of yellow and all of nature is keeping a watchful eye on the tire swing, waiting to see who will come. Will the autumn air be filled with the sound of children’s laughter or will the whisper of the wind take hold until spring returns? Only time will tell.
