I’m a big Reindeer fan. I mean you would have to be crazy not to be, right? Afterall, they are the ones who do the hard work on Christmas Eve…pulling that sleigh and all of those toys and gifts.
I was taking a little walk around the sim where I have made my winter/Christmas home and spotted this guy standing among the trees. I approached slowly and to my surprise he didn’t run and seemed friendly even. I knew right away he must be one of Santa’s! I asked him if Santa was nearby, hoping he would respond with a sign of some sort….you know, one hoof stomp for yes, two for no, but he stayed loyal and left me to wonder that answer for myself.
I miss being around little kids at Christmas. Their bright eyes taking it all in….just magical in my opinion. One of the things I always did with my daughter was to make Magical Reindeer Food. Want to make your own reindeer food? Here you go! It’s simple and quick, perfect for little ones!
MAGIC REINDEER FOOD
1 Cup Dry Oats
1/2 Cup Glitter in the color of your choice (I like red and green)
Mix together in a small zip lock bag and print and attach the following poem/instructions.
“Sprinkle on the lawn at night.
The moon will make it sparkle bright.
Santa’s reindeer fly and roam.
This will help them find your home.”
