My daughter and I used to play a game every year at Christmas time to see who was the first one to spot a vehicle with a fresh Christmas tree tied to the top. We only did it when we were out together obviously, because there had to be some proof, right?
I switched to an artificial tree several years back when it became to hard to handle a fresh one after several surgeries. I do miss the smell but that’s nothing a good balsam Yankee Candle can’t fix! Anyway, I got a text from my daughter yesterday that simply said “I win!”. This was quickly followed by a photo of a car with a fresh tree strapped to its roof. Memories are such treasures!
