You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch

Featuring NAUGHTYbits and Glitter & Doom

I am excited to be blogging for the SL Christmas Expo again this year. The expo opens today and I have a post already done and scheduled to post tomorrow with all the details about the expo.

I am still going to post that of course but as I was opening blogger boxes (thank you so much to ALL of the creators that send so much delightful goodies) I first came across this cute dog with his back end sticking out of Santa’s sack. I left him rezzed out, thinking to myself that I would surely use him in an upcoming photo because he was so cute. I continued unboxing and unpacked this tree and well…a lightbulb went off. I mean how can you look at that tree and not immediately think of the Grinch and the wonderful landscape of Whoville.

So I set work trying to create the vision that was in my head. I hope you enjoy it! My post tomorrow will have more details on the SL Christmas Expo but it IS open now and you can read all about it here.

I am going to close the post with an excerpt from Dr. Seuss’s How The Grinch Stole Christmas that my photo represents. Merry Grinchmas!

“It was quarter of dawn. All the Whos still a-bed,
All the Whos still a-snooze, when he packed up his sled,

Packed it up with their presents, their ribbons, their wrappings,
Their snoof and their fuzzles, their tringlers and trappings!

Ten thousand feet up, up the side of Mount Crumpet,
He rode with his load to the tiptop to dump it!”
