Yep!  I’m moving in!  I have always been a bit of a house collector (who said hoarder) in Second Life and in fact still have my very first house that I bought when I rented my first patch of land.  Here we are almost nine years later and sadly neither the house, the creator nor the land company are in Second Life any longer.  The little piece of land was always sentimental because it is where I lived when I met the man who would years later become my real life husband.  We used to pop back over to it from time to time as it stayed inworld long after the rentals stopped and it seemed like there were squatters everywhere.  I’m not sure what happened there but I was sad when it finally “poofed”.

Luckily there is no shortage of land or excellent house creators that are still very active.  The one I am featuring today is from {Old Barn Door}.  It is the Whitetail Cabin and it is currently making its debut at Shiny Shabby.  You have a few choices regarding roof color and your purchase actually includes 2 cabin versions; an open layout version and a loft version.  The build features great textures, materials enabled, some landscaping, extra lights and a cozy fireplace.  There is also a snow roof add on available should you wish to purchase.  Be sure to swing by Shiny Shabby to see it in person.

I am also featuring a new beautiful tree from The Little Branch.  The Zelkova Serrata is an animated, four season tree and is available at the current round of Cosmopolitan.  Beautiful and life like as always!  Cosmopolitan ends on the 25th so hurry over to catch it there or you can find it after the event at the main store.
