Beautiful Things In Humble Places

Beautiful Things In Humble Places

Featuring DaD Virtual Living and |T|L|C| Home Collection

I am sure you have all heard the saying “Be it ever so humble, there’s no place like home.”  I’m sure most of us are the most comfortable in our own homes… be it an apartment, an efficiency, a walk up on the 8th floor or that 4000 square foot ranch.

They also say home is where the heart is and sometimes that can include more than one home.  In fact little pieces of my heart are scattered around in the homes that I created wonderful memories in.  From my childhood home that my mother still lives in 45 years later, to the little fixer upper we lived in when my daughter was born, to our construction project on 2 1/2 acres and to where I am today, a very pretty house in a peaceful and pretty subdivision.

We’ve been in this one a year now and I have a lot I still want to do.  I feel my age kick in (and the lasting effects of having cancer) when I work outside now and it can be a bit frustrating.  When I mentioned this to someone they told me to remind myself that I am a survivor and that alone is incredible.  I am…and it is.  So here it to making the most of all I do no matter how ordinary and to being thankful for all that I have… no matter how grand or humble.
