Every time I do an Asian inspired photo I end up sidetracked watching Memoirs of a Geisha. I love that movie and am a bit fascinated by the whole Geisha history. After I first saw the movie years ago I rushed out and read several books on the history and the current status of that mysterious lifestyle. There are some great documentaries on YouTube as well. If you haven’t seen the movie I highly recommend it!
