There have been a lot of light-hearted memes out there trying to make the best of things amid this whole pandemic. Some of the funniest ones I have seen related to the beauty industry, specifically hair color. Now I can color my hair on my own just fine and have done so for many years and (knock on wood) have never had a botched job. In my younger days I played around with all sorts of colors but as the grey has taken over I have to keep it a natural blond. Anything darker and the roots show within a week it seems. Anyway, color I don’t have to worry about. What I did miss while the salons were closed was a cut. I have really thick hair and keep it in a fairly short stacked bob and that requires a cut every 6 weeks at a minimum. Anything longer than that and my hair becomes too heavy to do anything with except try to keep off my face with a barrette or two…ok maybe even three. I am thankful the salons are back open (for now) and now I need to see about a pedicure!
