You Should Be Dancing

Featuring Avec Toi

Today I am featuring the Night Fever Blouse and Pants from Avec Toi and BOY, did I end up going down a wormhole while working on the photo and this write up.  The name of the outfit immediately made me think of the 1977 movie, Saturday Night Fever.

I know if have talked about my love of dancing before and it started at a very young age.  My sister and I watched American Bandstand and Soul Train as early as I can remember.  The disco genre emerged in the 70’s, my pre-teen years and I remember how popular the movie and disco were at that time.

When the movie came out I was 12 years old and in the 7th grade and my math teacher started an after school dance club.  My friends and I could do the Hustle like no ones business.  Then at 13 we started hitting the teen dance club where we want almost every weekend even after we were legal “bar” age.  The wormhole I mentioned – it was hours of YouTube videos because you know you can’t watch just one.  One after another kept popping up on that sidebar and I just had to listen/watch and on occasion even leave my chair to boogie across the floor.

The Night Fever Blouse and Pants are sold separately and each comes in four mini packs that include 6 colors or a fatpack that has 14 exclusive duo-colors.  You can find them at Uber…and by the way..these great shoes are also from Avec Toi and are available at the main store.  Happy shopping!
