Happy Friday everyone! Are you all ready for the holiday weekend? It is Memorial Weekend here in the US and while Memorial Day is a day to remember those who died in active military service, it has also become a kick off to summer. So while there will be parades and visits to cemeteries and memorials, there will also be lots of picnics, backyard barbecues and trips to the beach. When I lived in Michigan, we usually started our camping season on Memorial weekend as well.

As you may have read in my previous posts, I have a good bit of love for the movie Jaws. I saw it in the theater with my parents when I was 10 and it definitely made a lasting impression….even all these years later. So when the season changes over to summer, it never fails that I get into a “Jaws” state of mind. *Laughs*
